Biography
I-Fong Chen was born on September 1, 1969, in Yunlin, Taiwan, R.O.C. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in the electric engineering from the Chinese Culture University and Chung Hua University, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 1993 and 1995, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2002. From May 1995 to May 1996, he was with the Microelectronics Technology Inc., Satellite TV Dept. to be a R&D engineer, Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C., where he worked on microwave circuit and antenna design. In 1996, he joined the Department of Electronic Engineering, Jen-Win Institute of Technology college to be a associate professor, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. In 2000, he joined AUDEN Techno Corp. to be Chief Technique Official of R&D division, and in 2002 as Managing Director. In 2005, he become a professor and served as Chairman of Electronic Engineering Department till now. He is listed Marquis Who’s Who in the World. His current research interests are in the areas of antenna design, electromagnetic compatibility, transmission-line modeling and SAR.
